How to Copy/Backup XBOX Games
What you will need:
> Computer/Laptop
> Modified XBOX w/EvolutionX dashboard
> Working FTP between your computer/laptop and XBOX
> Craxtion 4
> Original XBOX Game Disc
> Image Burning Software (i.e. DVD Decrypter, Nero)
This tutorial will guide you through the multiprocess of copying an xbox game from your xbox disc drive to your computer, converting it to a disc image, and then burning that image to disc. This tutorials intent is meant to prolong te life of your existing authentic XBOX game(s). We accept no responsibility if you use this tutorial for any other means than the one mentioned above.
STEP 1: Transferring the Game Files to you Computer/Laptop
Make sure your XBOX is on and connected to your network, has an original game disc inside that you’d like to backup, and is on the EvolutionX dashboard screen.
> Open Craxtion and select Disc Ripper

> If you do not already have an FTP connection established, you will see the box below pop up

> Select “Add Network Connection” and input the correct information so that you can FTP into the XBOX which has the disc you’d like to backup

> Now you’re ready to begin the transfer process. Now that your connection is setup successfully, click on disc ripper again and it should go directly to the screen below.
> Select “Rip Disc”

> If you have a firewall enabled you wil more than likely see a window appear syaing you need to allow Craxtion to pass through the firewall. If you have any desire for this to work, press unblock or the equivalent to the window(s) that appears for your current firewall(s).

> Now you will see the process begin.

> Once the transfer is done, you should see this screen. Click done to move to the next step.

STEP 2: Creating an .ISO/Disc Image of Your Game
Create an .iso (disc image) so you can backup the game to an media. I prefer using DVD-R because there have been less compatibility issues (to my knowledge) when it comes to the various disc drives that come pre-installed on xboxes.
> Open Craxtion and select “Create New ISO”

> I saved the game files to my Desktop. Select the parent folder of those files through the Craxtion browser and then select o.k.

> You can put it wherever you’d like but I made a folder name “ISO” and put it inside the parent folder of the game I’m backing up. That location “ISO” will be where my finished .ISO will be saved.

> Automatically, the Craxtion Patcher will do it’s magic with the files before continuing with the conversion. Once you see all has been successfully patched, click “Done”

> Now all you need to do is select “Create” and wait until the creation is complete

> You will be able to monitor the ISO progress…It does not take a long time for this conversion either.

> Once completed, you should see this

STEP 3: Burning the Image to a Disc (DVD Media)
> In the next section, I used DVD Decrypter to burn the image to disc.
> Open DVD Decrypter and select Mode, ISO, then Write

> Make sure an blank DVD is in your disc drive and select the source option “small folder’ in the image above to navigate to the ISO you just created

> Once selected, you’ll see the actual file now listed in the source section of the program and all you need to do is select the burn image for DVD Decrypter which is indicated below

That’s it. When the burn is done, you’re done. That disc can now be used on your modified XBOX as if it were your original one.
NOTE: I will post the steps for burning an image with other software so members can see the entire process on screen first. If you have a specific application you’d like to see the images for (i.e. Nero is next) just post here.
